The Condition of our hearts

Leonard Ravenhill said that "The true man of God is heartsick, grieved at the worldliness of the Church...grieved at the toleration of sin in the Church, grieved at the prayerlessness in the Church. He is disturbed that the corporate prayer of the Church no longer pulls down the strongholds of the devil."

So my question is what still grieves your heart?

Do you still feel the heartache of the Heavenly Father?

As I travel across the USA, I see a Remnant of believers that are genuinely hungry for revival and want a real move of God. I truly see pockets of churches in every city that I visit, that are seeking our heavenly Father.

They are in various church denominations that would amaze you.

I’m totally surprised by what I am seeing. Churches praying, reaching their communities.

The response of Evangelicals around the nation has been encouraging, but there is still churches that are social club, dead and dying even though they look on the outside like their healthy growing as churches, in reality they are playing Church, filled with religious people, no relationship with Jesus. Some not even saved, they may as well be another social club doing humanitarian efforts like: saving the whales, saving trees.

We need men and women who are totally sold out for Jesus.

The condition of our hearts affects us in every area of our life. How we battle and get the right heart, it starts on our knees in prayer.

Reuben Archer Torrey said,

"The reason why many fail in battle is because they wait until the hour of battle. The reason why others succeed is because they have gained their victory on their knees long before the battle came...Anticipate your battles; fight them on your knees before temptation comes, and you will always have victory."

Michael W. Smith sings a song that says “This is how I fight my battles.......”

We fight our battles on our knees in prayer getting to know the heart of the Father.

We start by spending time in prayer, studying His word; the Bible, going to church, worshiping Him, and telling others about Him.
