In November 1985, Pastor David and Linda Cross founded Harvest Time Church in Faribault, MN and pastored there for almost 18 years. Both are graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center, Broken Arrow, OK., and hold ordination credentials with Rhema Ministerial Association (RMAI). David also graduated from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK., with a diploma in Charismatic Ministry. Linda also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management and Communications from Concordia University, St. Paul, MN.

Today they are excited about what God is doing in Phoenix, Arizona where they pioneered another church in 2003. They want to share the POWER that in the WORD of God to change lives. “God has changed our lives — He can change yours too!“

“Why do I need to go to church?”
Being a part of a local church is vital to our spiritual success. Hebrews 10:25 tells us, “Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.” — Amplified Bible

Another reason God created the church is so that believers have a place to “show themselves faithful.” God does have a reward program and He is keeping track of the good things we do with the right motives. As a believer, we do not have to worry about God keeping track of our sins, because He has washed our sins away with His own blood, once for all. He is however, keeping track of our good deeds done with the right motives.

Other reasons to attend church:

Protection — Jesus said that sheep without a shepherd were open targets for the wolves.

Accountability — As human-beings, we need people to be accountable too. Today, many people are joining groups across the country, just for accountability, when the church was designed to be that place where you can be accountable to others.

Faithfulness — We demonstrate to God that we are faithful and worthy of ruling and reigning with Him for eternity!

Training for Reigning — every good soldier needs training.

Contribution — A basic need of human-beings is the need to contribute to something “bigger” than ourselves. When we contribute to the Lord’s work, whether it’s financially or with our time and talents, we meet a basic need within our souls and feel better about ourselves.

Worship — this is the ULTIMATE and highest reason we are to attend church. Are you worshiping the True and Living God? Many people are worshiping the wrong things today because God created us with a need to worship something bigger than ourselves. We WILL WORSHIP SOMETHING… the question is “WHAT?”

At Harvest Church International we worship the TRUE and LIVING GOD who loves you and sent His Son to die on the cross for your sins. He was raised from the dead and now is forever seated in heaven interceeding for you. His name is Jesus Christ and He wants to live in your heart and become your Lord and Savior. Have you allowed Him into your life? If not, do so right now. Just pray and ask him to come into your heart. Say, “Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for my sins and that you were raised again from the dead on the third day and that you are alive forever more. I invite you into my heart.
