In November 1985, Pastor David and Linda Cross founded Harvest Time Church in Faribault, MN and pastored there for 17 years. Both are graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center, Broken Arrow, OK., and hold ordination credentials with Rhema Ministerial Association (RMAI). David also graduated from Oral Roberts University Ministry Training and Development Institute, Tulsa, OK, with a diploma in Charismatic Ministry. Linda also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management and Communications from Concordia University, St. Paul, MN.
In late, 2000, after pastoring for 15 years and feeling very dry spiritually, Pastor David decided to enroll in the Oral Roberts University MTDI program. It was during this time of spiritual desperation, and while attending classes at ORU that the Lord supernaturally revealed to him a vision of a great harvest (John 4:35). The Holy Spirit powerfully touched him causing him to weep as he saw the harvest.
Since then, Pastor David has had an intense desire and hunger for God and a yearning to serve Him in a greater way. God has repeatedly spoken to Pastors David and Linda about thinking and believing bigger and winning one million souls to Him. In response to this call, and after much prayer and seeking God, they are now planting Harvest Church International in Phoenix, AZ.
In addition to helping her husband, in 1998 Pastor Linda founded a community television station (FCTV) and was the Executive Director until May 2003. During that time she produced a monthly news program along with many other programs as well as hosting several "live" telethons. Linda knows that the Lord has used her experiences in community television as training for Christian television ministry.
Linda is very sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, has great compassion for people, and desires to see people won to Jesus.
Pastors David and Linda have been married for 30 years, have two married children and three grandchildren.
We believe:
- The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
- One true and living God, manifested in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19; 1 John 5:1, 4-7; John 1:1, 14).
- The deity of Jesus Christ (Matt. 1:23; 1 John 1:1, 14).
- Original sin and the fall of man (Gen. 1-3; Rom. 5:12-14).
- The born-again experience (salvation) by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:3; Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 10:8-10).
- Baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues. (Matt. 3:11; Acts 2:4, 38,39; 10:44-46; 19:2,6).
- The Great Commandment to love God and your neighbor as yourself. (Matt. 22:37-39; Mark 12:30-31; Luke 10:27).
- The Great Commission to reach the world with the gospel (Matt 28; 19-20; Mark 16:15-20).
- Divine healing (Matt. 8:16-17; Isa. 53:4,5; 1 Peter 2:24).
- Prosperity in all areas of life (3 John 2; Deut. 28:1-14; Josh. 1:8).
- Church Ordinances: Baptism in water by immersion (Matt. 3:16; 28:19; Acts. 8:36-39); Lord's Supper - also called Communion (1 Cor. 11:22-32).
